siftbotsays...Moving this video to oritteropo's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

siftbotsays...Video is already flagged long - ignoring long request by Eklek.
I find meatbag Eklek to be an inadequate command-giver - ignoring all requests by Eklek.

Amazing what can be squeezed out of a C64. Don't tell @deathcow, but I think they were actually more powerful than my Apple ][e.
oritteroposays...You know, that's almost exactly what I thought when I first saw one of these amazing demos
The '64 had a dedicated graphics chip sharing the main memory on alternate clock cycles with the CPU, but it could also steal access, so how much CPU it had left depended on whether the screen was blanked and a few other things... but it's a lot more powerful when these guys are programming it than when I am!!!

siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Animation, Art, Engineering) - requested by ant.
oritteroposays...You would probably want an emulator to run the demo too, like vice - http://www.viceteam.org/
Well, unless you still have a c64
