Ashton Kutcher Gives Advice to Republicans

Bill Maher Real Time: Ashton Kutcher gives republicans some advice.
NetRunnersays...

Uhh, Republicans already use the Internet. That's where the last two big right-wing lies started (the "Obama is a Muslim" and "Obama wasn't born in the US" lies, specifically).

If you count Sarah Palin as an unemployed blogger, she's the one who really gave the "death panel" lie wings, just by posting about it on her Facebook page.

The problem Republicans have isn't the media they use to propagate their message, it's what that message is.

Problems not the internet. The problem is fear plane and simple fear. People are scared shitless. They know were all in a pickle and it does not look like were getting out anytime soon. What are they scared of? That there way of life is about to change maybe? People want things to stay the same they were comfortable that way. What they dont realize is that its too late, it was too late years ago. All we can do is wait to see what happens next. Maybe we find a solution? Maybe the country falls apart? Only time will tell. Just my opinion anyway.

Liberals hate monopolies, except for the one they had with lamestream media and the once-upon-a-time Big 3 networks, where a single traitor like Walter Commiekite could still sabotage a war.

The Lewinsky scandal was exposed by the intertubes as was Obama's socialist medi-scheme.

Even while still controlling Hollywood and government schools via teachers' unions, talk radio and intertubes have really "leveled the playing field" in terms of content. Welcome to competition, libs!

The only part of this video that struck me is how he pointed out that the news sucks. The news is nearly useless.
1. Fox is a completely fake news channel.
2. The rest of the news is usually just a conservative commentator, or a liberal commentator.
3. Even when they do talk about a news topic, they just get 2 people to spout talking points for 2 minutes.
4. Occasionally you might actually see a news program, but half of it is celebrity news.
5. You just end up staring at commercials screaming at you to buy stuff.

And you'd better hope Michael Jackson didn't just die, because if he did, you're not getting any news for a month.

As always - it amuses me when people tell thier political opposites, "Here's what you should do..." :eyeroll: As if anyone would listen to what this guy says. Even if he manages to fumble hapharzardly into an opinion that isn't completely laughable at its face, no one could possibly ever agree with it for no other reason than it came from such a doofus.

From the title this just must be said: "The blind leading the blind"

I dunno what's worse, Ashton Kutcher offering advice to a political party, or a political party so lost it actually might do better to listen to him than their own leadership.

Winstonfield_Pennypackersays...

Of course not. I'm judging him based on the constant stream of dumb things he does/says. It doesn't hurt that his appearance and intellect match up perfectly either... This kid is the classic stupid douche who thinks he's cool, but really is just a joke.

Rachel Ray, Dunkin Donuts, and one terrorist scarf would like to agree.
