100 days of "Fair & Balanced"

"Fox News has reason to rejoice as President Obama marks the media-manufactured milestone of his first 100 days in office. The conservative cable network's ratings are sky high under the new Democratic president. Yes, it looks like it couldn't be happier serving as "the voice of [Obama's] opposition," to paraphrase Fox News senior vice president Bill Shine."

And once again an entire video of Fox news clips...which means an entire video of people saying random things and making incoherent connections. I feel like I need to watch each one of these that is posted but it's starting to make me grumpy.

Fox News is why the rest of the world remains wary of America. This is your most watched News show? Journalistic integrity and truth? WTF?

I mean imagine people who watch this shit and listen to Limbaugh, what kind of skewed and fucked up view of the world would they get?

But then again I knew this would happen? Reminds me of how Fox used to cover Clinton's presidency. Right before they started loving it up under Bush.

GuyIncognitosays...

Yes, we all know how "Fair & Balanced" Fox News is. Question though.

How many of you watch the Fox Broadasting Corporation? You know, crap like House and 24... How many of you saw The Simpsons Movie in theatres?

See folks, your eyes are worth advertising dollars. The same man who profits from Fox News, also profits from the fucking shit you people eat up. Right?

That's the thing that bothers here. Right after you rag on Fox News, you fucking upvote Jack Bauer. Or you sit your fat ass down and watch American Idol. Don't you see how ridiculous that is? You despise Fox News, but gladly fork your money (your eyes) over to the man who is responsible for this disgusting farce.

If you hate what Fox News has done to your democracy, hate the deception and lies, take a fucking stand against the people who run the network. Take a stand against Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. Write letters to the companies advertising with them. Tell them you won't purchase their products because you don't want your money to fund that propaganda machine. Don't fucking watch that new Twentieth Century Fox Film. Until you make that small sacrifice, YOU ARE ALL FUCKING PATHETIC HYPOCRITES.

I love the hypocrites in the Republican party. When they have no political power, they speak of the virtues of thrift and freedom. When they get power, they act like socialists. Where the hell was all this stuff when Bush was bailing out companies, giving the Fed free range, running trillion dollar deficits, having war adventures like Vietnam, signing a totally unrealistic 9 trillion dollar prescription drug bill ontop of what was already underfunded by 20 trillion? Why is today in danger of being socialism? Derr, we've been socialist for a long time. No one believes you are sincere anymore in your rhetoric, Republicrat dickweeds. See: government expansion in the last umpteen presidencies.

Only 40% of households watch cable news regularly. There are more than three cable news channels. So, "most-watched" could really just mean that 14% of people watch it. I've also seen claims that CNN actually gets more viewers than Fox, but Fox's Nielsen ratings are just higher through some gaming of the system.

That said, the Big Three (MSNBC, CNN, Fox News) are all total tripe, so there's not really any good source.

So America is moving closer to Communism? Well, that's the only direction a nation can go when you move away from a Theocratic Tyranny, even if it is just a little bit in that direction. The Theocratic Reign of George Bush was even predicted by the prophet himself!

The only people that are upset about Obama's Craaaazy Socialist economics are the rich and powerful elite who will lose a bit of money so that those 'ungrateful peasants' will have slightly better lives.

I haven't had cable television in over a decade. And like many others who are repulsed by the fear-mongering and media-manipulation practices of Fox News, I'm equally repulsed by 24, American Idol and the rest of that mindless, soul-crushing garbage that you think all of us just love to death.

So please chill on all this "ALL OF YOU" nonsense.

But I think your above comments are just a smoke-screen for your wanting to take a dig at Americans in general. But what you fail to understand is that while people like O'Reilly may get 1million viewers per night, that leaves around 299million people in this country who don't watch him.

None of this is nearly as popular as you or they themselves believe.

I loved the 'We have a president who's foreign policy is anti-American.'

HAHAHAHAHA... *takes a breath* HAHAHAHAHA..HAHAHAHAHA!

Faux News ratings have gone up the same way as Apple Computers has. From 2% of the US market to 8%. That is by no means a huge number, but it is a big leap.

What is really gonna be funny is how these guys act when Obama actually fixes all the problems that Bush started, which he is doing and is already beginning to happen. Foot-in-Mouth time I guess. Though they will NEVER admit it, but they will realize that after such successes their chances in 2012 are even more dismal, especially if they keep acting like sensationalist whores.

Edit: And what is with that Judge calling him Stalin without the bloodshed? Anyone remember how balistic these guys went when ANYONE compared Bush to Stalin/Hitler/etc? And Hanity telling Obama to stop the doom and the gloom. What a fucking hypocrite.

While I admit that Fox News skews quite a bit of news, you can't honestly think CNN or MSNBC or ABC doesn't do the same exact thing. Even if you think they don't skew the news then that just means what you're saying is what you're agreeing with more.
