Piers Morgan vs Ben Shapiro
Note that it was Shapiro who talked about taking handguns away.
No negotiation, make it all or nothing, whispers versus consensus.

Didn't forget you.

Drove from Boulder to Santa Fe with you in mind.
Reassessing everything on my end of the line...

Thanks! Good song. Never heard it before (I think). Sort of reflects my mood of the moment, too.

Thanks for touching base.
It's funny you did, because I'm heading down NM way tomorrow.
Hope you're beating the heat. Peace.

Said something about...I can't remember now.
Rhyming, from the center.

"What More Do We Want This Man To Do For Us"
Anytime people describe Obama as a Muslim or a socialist, there is really no reason left to hear what they say.
As for the scare mongering, the "we haven't seen the real him yet" - on what is that based?
Whereas we know exactly what Romney and his pals will do once they're in the drivers seat again: continue to rape the country as before.

Unban choggie, blankfist and dft. (User Poll by MrFisk)
That's too bad about Blankie.
He had a lot of funny things to say. We rarely saw eye-to-eye, but I usually enjoyed his posts.
Choggie...while he never personally attacked me, he did pull some pretty stupid stunts.
DFT has always been one of my faves, and hope to see him around again.
This is a beautiful site. I don't hang out here like I used to, but it is a unique place to share videos and viewpoints.
David Letterman - Keith Olbermann vs Current TV.
Who brought this into being?
This apparent lack of fairness?
Which party saw no need for fairness in the media before that rule was changed?
David Letterman - Keith Olbermann vs Current TV.
Kind of the same way that claiming anybody who points out the truth is activist.
Kind of the same way that claiming the most propagandistic network in America's history has a subtitle that proclaims itself "fair and balanced."

And your solution?

Sheldon from Big Bang meets Stephen Hawking
Sheldon is sort of the Eric Cartman of the intelligentsia.
And Cartman was the Dennis the Menace of...something that doesn't exist any more.

Obama: If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon

When the law was enacted back in '05; I remember people complaining that crap like this would happen, and so it did. A life was lost, and the right thing to do, race aside, is to honor that life by doing due diligence. The president has feelings, but as a public figure, he cannot express his personal opinion. I know how he feels and I agree with him, but I also agree with the fact that he should let the proper authorities comment on it. He's the president, not a TV talking head. This is a local matter that should not have been asked to a president in the first place - this is troll journalism at best.
>> ^HenningKO:
Sucks he can't say what he feels. He looks in pain. The one real thing he said... the title of this post... speaks volumes tho.
And everybody knows that any side he takes will be the wrong side and Fox et al. will open up on him with both barrels.
If he's against Trayvon, then he's soft on crime.
If he's down on the investigation, then he hates cops.
That is the GOP framing in a nutshell.
