Yeoman of the Guard gives hilarious Tower of London tour
So I thought this was the same guide I had, but sadly it wasn't. The tour I went on the guide was just as awesomely sarcastic and the whole heavy gate thing...yeah he got everyone to run by saying something about how many tons it was...how it could crush us...:)
Sliding Cars in Seattle Ice/Snow on 11/22/10
So living here, the problem is they don't know how to care for the roads...that and people don't know how to drive on it. When you get around 2" of snow a year (once, maybe twice for a few days) I think the state just thinks it's not worth it to have the capacity to deal with it. Now, that is only the West side of the state (seattle and surrounding areas). Eastsiders don't have a problem driving in snow. As for do people have studded tires, nope. Same reason as the state . Truthfully last year we literally had no snow in the lower areas.
And to be fair to the people in the video, many places that do get snow are quite flat...seattle is not a flat place at all
Nail Gun Artist 'recreates the Mona Lisa'
So just watch his finger and the nails, there is more then one nail fired per pull (which is hard to do anyways especially depending on how much air pressure you have) he's just pulling the trigger like mad the whole time, no real control or the nails timing with when he pulls the trigger. Not to mention the camera was fixed in place until after it was finished. Sadly I would have to say fake but cool none the less. (Also pretty sure the gun doesn't hold that many nails, although the kind i've used is a bit different)
