TGS is done by the same guy as strongbad I'm pretty sure, cos he breaks down into the strongbad voice a couple times.
Ouch!! That Hurt!
Ahh, gotta love preservation of momentum...
Requiem for a Dream Recut as Romantic Comedy
Impressive. Although it seems a bit strange how it uses lots of clips but without the dialog from the movie.
World's first wing-flapping robot
Surely a tiny helicopter-like device is much more efficient...
drunk old man trapped on MC Escher's infinite staircase
That was great. although the ending was a bit unnecessary.

Pleo: The fake smart robot pet
Almost a dupe of this, but with the important difference of showing it to be faked...
Pleo: The Smartest Robot Pet
This has been shown to be a fake - two videos of different appearances were put side by side and the actions were identical. It's just pre-programmed motion, sadly...

Non-flash movies (Sift Talk Post)
Aww.. but I *did* discover it on the internets, just not in a flash-format. Which is why I'd feel naughty uploading it to my own youtube account...
Robot generates conception of itself & adapts to damage
tracon - it won't try all possible combinations, that'd be impossible. It'll be using some sort of genetic algorithm, where random motions are tried, and in the next round the most successful of them carry through (with some random permutations) as well as a few more random candidates. Repeat until you get sufficiently good at walking.
This allows it to effectively "evolve" movement, as long as it has some way of measuring how effective a particular motion is towards its goal.
Reminds me of another interesting video, I'll see if I can dig it up...
Polar Bear Cubs Emerge After Winter - Extremely Cute
there needs to be a *really_cute tag for occasions like this
XBox's ad for "Gears of War" featuring "Mad World" (1:00)
Gah, so damn sick of that song... It's like they play it over any vaguely dramatic TV show moment now.
Rss Feeds for individual Channels (Sift Talk Post)
Sweet, thanks dag
Amateur - Lasse Gjertsen. Brilliant Editing.
Aww, that title set me up for something awesome at the end, but it was rather unexciting. Upvote anyway though...
