Zero Punctuation: Fable 3

@ponceleon

Don't forget

# Syndicate (1993) (producer)
# Theme Park (1994) (project leader/lead programmer)
# Magic Carpet (1994) (executive producer)
# Hi-Octane (1995) (executive producer)
# Dungeon Keeper (1997) (project leader/designer)

I'd say that only after he founded and became leader of Lionhead Studios he screwed everything up and only produced shit.

Zero Punctuation: Fable 3

>> ^MilkmanDan:

Yep, I have Fable 1. I'd agree that Fable 1 isn't really a sandbox game, but there are so few games that are that I tend to take games that aren't really in that mold and play them as if they were. As long as I don't have to screw around with too much story to get to where I can just run along and do my own thing, I can live with it.
Even the GTA series, probably the most popular example of a fairly "pure" sandbox design, often require you to do some random story crap before you actually open up the map... There's always roadblocks at the start of the game unless you mod them out!

Morrowind, Fallout, Gothic, Risen, Oblivion, Just Cause 2, are all more sanboxy than Fable. Maybe even The Witcher, though that is strongly story driven but in a very good way, much more gray and mature than Fable.

40-50 people dying a year of MDMA? Lies:
http://www.cognitiveliberty.org/dll/jhmdusscmarch19.htm

"Not only are MDMA related cases a small percentage of all drug-related emergency room visits, but a large percentage of MDMA cases are not life-threatening. In a recent study conducted by the physicians in the Emergency Department of Bellevue, (Rella, Int J Med Toxicol 2000; 3(5): 28) regional hospital ecstasy cases phoned into the New York City poison control center were analyzed. There were 191 cases reported during the years 1993 to 1999 inclusive. This is a rate of fewer than thirty cases per year. 139 cases (73%) were mild and experienced minor or no toxicity. The most commonly reported symptoms were increased heart rate (22%), agitation (19%), and nausea and vomiting (12%). In these seven years, only one ecstasy-related death was reported, which was due to hyperthermia, or overheating. Ecstasy is simply not the "killer drug" the media would like us to believe."

Just 8% contained MDMA, WTF? I find that very hard to believe. In the Netherlands levels have been monitored for years and in the worst year only 50% contained MDMA.

This is the no contact pansy version of slam ball it seems. Those guys have done back flips on dunks. Whether it was intention or not is another question.

While SlamBall seems pretty awesome, they just don't have the time or the incentives to make over the top movements like this, and that's what so awesome about this clip. What you are saying is like saying trick shots are the pansy version of pool.

Monsanto may be evil, but I am not in the GMOs are principally wrong camp. I'm convinced genetically modified crops will be very important for our future nutrition needs and food security.
