Perhaps actually puppy butts are my second favorite thing.

Favorite thing? My avatar has it -- little butts of baby piggies drunk on milk. Passed out drunk on momma's milk.

Really doesn't get any better than that.

THEN puppy butts.

Why can i not go to the pub!?

bareboards2 says...

I must admit to being shocked 20 years ago or so when going to a pub and seeing all the little pub tables covered in various states of pint glass levels -- and baby bottles. Baby bottles next to beer covered tables. She has a point -- her friend got to go to the pub! For her daddy's party!

Oh dear. I knew you were halfway around the world! I am starting that slide into death called being over 65 and I am forgetting all sorts of things now. (I had to stare at my slippers for a full 90 seconds before I could remember the word. I knew they went on my feet though. Not that far gone yet.)

So yeah. Summer. We do something similar in about six months -- except it is light at 5 am and the sun sets about 9:45 pm. And never gets to 111.

I have been reading about your climate crisis challenges. My heart is breaking for you all.

It was 44.1°C (111.4°F) here yesterday at 6pm and sunset wasn't until 8:42pm. Sunrise was at 5:55am.

But anyway, happy return of the light We have an excess, I'm willing to share.

We all have wounds. I was certainly pissed off about mine for a very long time. Took me decades to process. I do have sympathy and empathy.

At some point, though, it is up to us to work through our pain and stop projecting it out onto others.

Isn't it? Our personal responsibility? That is a core moral value of mine. Personal responsibility.

Sounds like resentment to me. Dad was probably unemployed for whatever reason and now he has to make him responsible for not getting Legos for his birthday. It colors his whole world. Makes him the man he is now.

I have bobknight on ignore. But I read this last post. Thought -- hey, surely he can be a nice person under these circumstances.

Nope. Is it some kind of brain damage? Certainly it is some kind of emotional damage.

So sad.
