Elder Scrolls Online Cinematic Trailer
what if, beyond all negativity, they DO keep it true to elder scrolls? kinda like an ultima online system. Ultima Online was more like elder scrolls in its execution with no levels and only skills. so it could very well work. and if its just skyrim multiplayer. so what! i wished i could go online and raid towns with a buddy. or dungeons if thats your thing

How It Should Have Ended: LOOPER
the only way to explain this movie is with a before and after universe. where universe one story line takes place, and another where the other version of the story happens, we watched timeline B. where the people are sent back to and killed. it IS possible that the mom was killed by some other gangsters and the kid goes awol in timeline A, the movie would have taken place, and that by sending people back are in fact sending them to the alternate version of timeline a.
or
in theory, if you follow how quantum states work, if sending someone back in time, you are actually removing him from our existence and creating a world for that person to appear in separate from ours but still within it, or kinda imbetween us, but not visible to us, and that 2nd world would then only exist because of that person, making sense that what happens happens, but by killing himself, he no longer is able to exist in that new world, forcing the matter in the new world to "overwrite" the original where he was sent from.
kinda like how quantum matter does not decide what it wants to be until it is measured. that stops world 1 from making sense, erasing world 1 with the new world 2. this is most likely the only way to prevent the time loop issue caused by most "time travel" movies.
or, in star trek terms, world 1 is real, world 2 is not. unless something happens in world 2 that breaks world 1. making world 2 the most likely outcome for the future. erasing world 1 and world 2 becomes the world.
or even simpler, world 1 happens, then interferes, creating a 2nd image of itself, until something happens in world 2 that breaks world 1s existance, they both exist, and don't. until something happens to tell matter in those worlds what happens. so until that point where world 2 overwrites world 1. both exist and world 1 is still free to interefere with world 2. or how ever many versions there are. you send someone back, they are killed, and both worlds are able to agree with the outcome merging and continuing as if nothing happened.
if you follow... i think i got ahead of myself with this one. this is all of course a movie.
Hundreds of Fast-Food Workers Strike for Living Wage
i ran a rather succesful pizza franchise for a while. i was quite generous with my pay and even in a low-mid income pizza store, i could easily afford to pay $15/hr to all my staff (of 20). Tim Hortons (canada) sells enough volume of coffee at roughly $2 a cup (plus other things) to afford starting wages of $11/hr in my town (plus benefits like basic health care stuff/drug palns blah blah blah) and pay/hour only goes up from there.
big corps have the margins to support this, in theory based on experience, for most low level income areas (10-15k sales a week) have a 10-15% proft margin. thats a week. once the mortgages and other build loans are paid, a business runnings expenses half. and that margin doubles. so in practice, most major fast food chains could easily afford to pay more and the only people who suffer most is the top level. they would raise prices to make the same yearly income. so, yes, an economy could sustain and only really gain from paying its own employees more. happy employees at home means less drama and stress related "mishaps" (food industry is very stressful) in the kitchen, would in theory benefit the company.
primarily, the only real people to suffer is the top level. the guys that skim the left over (profit margin) after expenses are paid.
if a company raised its prices because its employees wanted more wages, and they actually did pay them more and treated them better, i would shop there more often as that is a business i want to succeed. but thats another issue altogether to discuss is the need for people to spend as little as possible, making places like walmart and black friday sales so succesful. in part, we are to blame for what is happening, but we do not ask those companies to treat their staff the way they do to achieve this goal.
um, also good for them, most of those franchises lost thousands in one day due to loss of sales. so remember that if you think this wasn't successful.

Massive Slab of Concrete Falls on Parked Bus and Crushes It
used to operate a crane, never leave a load higher then need be (few feet off the ground), never move a load above anything or anyone(so usually straight up or slightly beside where it was lifted from) where is the spotter? the guy signaling the massively tall crane? if they were moving stuff around up onto the roof where did he load it from? where is any other construction worker? why is that whole area fenced off including around the bus, why is bus even there?! there would be no sane reason to park a bus that close to a crane.
the camera guy and skateboarder knew it was going to happen. it was staged for something, but not them.
