always online games limit what games i will purchase, i have to make the decision of only being able to play the game sometimes or get something that lets me play when i want without limitation, but because i dont always get internet support on travel i have to choose wisely. so i will choose something else to purchase over drm games.

diablo 3 was a single play through on the classes i wanted to play, could not play the game where there is no internet so it was uninstalled when i was done getting the classes to 60, diablo 2 was (and is still) years of fun. when they announced Simcity4 as a always online, i decided that i will never purchase a copy of that game. sucks for a company i have fully supported up until now.

i refuse to support companies that make bad decisions. If a game is good enough to purchase, people will purchase it. you dont see bethesda crying about loss of PC sales of skyrim...

what i think the money of this show could have better been used for:
investing in the school system to teach kids about how to better deal with conflict.
investing in ads that promote standing up for others.
investing in anti-bullying communities.
investing in bullying help hotlines.
investing in gay right movements and support help lines.

Love how he structures his videos. the other vids he has posted are mostly worth watching. specifically the ones on MA3 endings and the tale of 2 companies. really grounded commentaries

worked for bell tech support. they have caps already in place on bad credit account holders and new account holders. and when the Telus guys said it has a cap in place already(for roaming) all the other telecom people started back peddling, which wasn't shown. anyone remember when they put martha stewart away for lying. why has that law Never been used since?


out of context was that the cap was for ROAMING CHARGES, which has a delay, sometimes substantial, to when the actual charge is put on the account. but again, all the rates are available online and easy to calculate .
some countries have HUGE charges, so always check! some places is as bad as $10/1mb.

big warning, Pay as you go is not supported on travel, infact pay as you go is barely supported locally and needs some serious loving to trully become a viable option,

contracts are no good, used only as a bribe for the phone, which can be financed now in some 3rd party retailers, but in the eyes of bell canada, not in a contract? barely worth the contact. which means if you arent on a contract, the call centres will have very limited tools to assist you. and will charge up to $25 for reading info to you that you can find in forums and google.

i quit bell not too long ago because of how poorly they treat employees who do well and how blatantly the lies they told us to tell customers where. ugh, hate big telecoms.
