US: Laws You Dont Know About - and Liberties Provided by Them

DISCLAIMER: I am Not a Lawyer, do not take this as legal counsel.

Some States Are Open Carry States, Many States are open Carry States.  Why do you need to know? Because When You call the cops on these people, you only waste their time, and your Tax Dollars.

In The gold star States you have to understand that there will be people who carry, and the ones carrying openly are usually very law abiding citizens.  Do not fret over some one carrying a gun, because when you freak out you only cause the situation to become much worse than it is. If it is an open carry state, then you only succeed in making yourself look like a fool.
This is a controversial issue, but it is still a right in certian states. Just because you are afraid does not mean that they should have to forsake their rights. If you are scared, educate yourself, and understand.

If you feel Threatened by a person open carrying do not talk to them, and do not yell at them. Do not ever go for their gun. Just walk away, or keep walking by them, because the guys opencarrying are the ones you dont have to worry about.

Fear of Guns is unfounded, Fear of Poeple is founded.  Only a Person can kill a person.

Do not fret, there is no reason to be afraid of machinery, but there is reason to be wary of people.

The human condition is this. If there are no guns, find a knife, if there are no knives find a rock, cant find a rock use your bare hands.

Most gun carriers view it as the same reason you carry condoms. Would you rather have one and not need it? Or Need it and Not have one.

Always Carry A nonlethal form of protection, and never resort to Lethal Means Unless it can be avoided.

No open carry in Texas! Haw-haw!

I can think of very, very few instances where I would ever 'open carry' as opposed to conceal... basically just when you know somethings will go down and want to 'raise the flag' maybe to avert it, ... and I guess to potentially have easier access.

Someone told me once that Indiana (where I live) does not specify in its license to carry how you can carry, and thus in practical fact there isn't 'open carry', in-as-much-as you will more than likely be continually hassled unless you're out in the country.

cant you conceal cary in some cases/states?

isnt " because the guys opencarrying are the ones you dont have to worry about" prjudicial of the ones who conceal carry in those states?

isn't everything relative?

isn't it much more sencible to be scared because you are in america than because you see a gun? (j/k)

I'm really glad that basically none of you own or know how to operate a gun.

I'm not sure who you are talking to.

In case you missed the operative action of this post, it was to bring insight to those who so choose to read.

I am pro 2nd amendment, and I exercise that right. I also have proper training. You should too.

Speak for yourself. I own three, and have been operating them since I was 15.

Some call us "gun totin' liberals". But I think of myself as an "open minded toy enthusiast."
