I just got a strange phone call (at work) from my daughter (at home) saying Someone from MTV (a music video station in the Us) had just phoned for me.

It was regarding a video I posted from one of their shows (???)
All my daughter could remember was it was something about a guy falling out of a boat(???)
I have no idea what they are talking about.

He left a phone number and I am supposed to call them back (long distance - Los Angeles, CA)
He said got my information from VideoSift - which wouldn't be too hard since my profile links back to my personal website.

I have no idea what this is about.
The only video that comes close to this is a video I posted almost a year-and-a-half ago.

The video is an embed from Liveleak.
It doesn't look anything like a video from a TV station.

I haven't called them back, I don't even have a name - and I don't plan to unless they pursue it further.

My Question is, What are the legal grounds here for them calling me and telling me to take down a video (if that is what they are doing).
Should they not be going to Liveleak? Do I have to remove the embed from Videosift. @dag

Has anyone else Had this done before? Seems strange that they would contact me.
