LadyBugdustin hoffman also modeled his (rain man) character around someone that was under my nursing care at an institution years ago. he had too many clocks and calendars on his wall to count. an abundant amount of legos; he could tell you how many colors of each piece was used in his massive creations.
the sad part about dustin hoffman and tom cruise coming to meet him was ... that was the only time his family came to visit.
westybe intresting to see if these people are anny good at creating new things it seems thay are just hard drives. and as we have computers there is no real use for this skill. unless you could sumhoe use it to evelauate things based omn everything else and then make something better and new from it
therealblankmanIt makes my brain hurt to think about the data this fellow stores in his head.
It also makes my brain hurt to read anything that westy writes.
djsunkidurk! I can barely hear this video! Why is the volume so low?

I would say if you could figure out how to make the human brain function better and have this kind of recall would be a very big deal
bamdrewI studied savantism and aspergers for some time when deciding what direction to pursue graduate studies. Its was a very tempting direction, as there are amazing imaging and population studies going on around the world. However our understanding of so much of the brain is so very simplistic it makes studying savants to try to learn how to give ordinary people better memory recall seem like trying to jump the gun to me. Very unlikely that we can skip right to that without years of further research on the human brain in actual humans.
Moosemansays...It's a dead link. Replace? I wanted to show this to a friend
