TheFreaksays...I want to use Kinect hand gestures to move the content from one device to another.
Minority report!
sixshotsays...Caveat: 99% of any features or apps on the Xbox 360 requires Xbox Live Gold. That means you pay even more out of yer pocket to use those things.
Is there anything useful for the Xbox Live Silver/free users? Yes, that tiny 1% that MS gives you. Everything else requires Live Gold. IE requires Gold. YouTube requires Gold. ESPN requires Gold (although reasonable given the app design). DailyMotion requires Gold. Netflix requires Gold.
There is a major imbalance in how Silver is designed when compared to Gold. There's no "app" that you can use. All you're left is playing music/movies from the Xbox itself or streamed from the network.
Smartglass? Nice idea. But shitty if none of the Xbox apps work w/o a Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live isn't simply a service where there is free and paid. It's all about paying to use Xbox Live despite having a free model.
quantumushroomsays...All this advanced technology to watch 'Battleship'?
What a miraculous age we live in. (Takes bite of Moon Pie).
teebeenzsays...Sending movies, taking browser sessions, etc all are standard features which have been round for ages. My old galaxy 1 can even do it. yawn.
braindonutsays...It is pretty nice that they put out apps for the other platforms out there. That way, I don't have to be trapped in the cesspool of Windows Phone to be able to use it.
NaMeCaFsays...Nah. What would make it neat and worthwhile is if it was OS agnostic, so it worked on Android or iOS tablets and phones as well as Windows ones. Who's stupid enough to own a Windows Phone and Windows Tablet and an Xbox? Apart from Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates.
Great potential - DOA.
