sixshotsays...Can someone explain to me how they measure "steepness" of a coaster? I thought that it would be measured with 0 degree as flat/parallel to surface and 90 degree as being straight down.
rottenseed90 degrees is the apex of drop steepness, anything more or less ends up decreasing the effect of free fall.

MaxWilderSo if somebody makes a ride where the cars are flipped upside down and then gently roll down a 1% decline, that would count as a 179 degree slope? That's dumb. You can't get steeper than 90 degrees.
