Woman kicked off plane for singing Whitney Houston song.

An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing and kick a woman off the plane after she refused to stop singing Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You'.

Not commonly known fact: singing 'I Will Always Love You' will do no more harm to an airplanes instruments than a mobile phone making a call. However, singing it badly can raise it to as high as 10 mobile phones worth.

So, who's to say it's being sung badly? It's done by a vote by the bridge crew, but the Captain makes the final decision. Just remember the adage, "When it doubt, chuck her out"

So what is it with this "commonly held belief" that photos are not allowed to be taken during pretty much any incident?
So we can't take pictures on airplanes now? Sounds like a made up rule that authority likes to cite with no particular knowledge of a law or ordinance to back it up.
Also, *timeshift, weirdly. For some reason.

Sure am glad the same chunk of video was spliced together like that. I missed a ton of valuable visuals the first time 'round, and I somehow can't figure out the 'replay' feature. Maybe I was unkind and didn't rewind.

yeah, you're probably right that is some made up rule that exists purely to protect the airline's ass.

but it is a private airline so they can make up any rule they want pretty much.

Absurdity. So she was drunk and unruly and they land a plane to get her off.

Why not just let the attendants have tasers to "quiet" the problem passengers, and a roll of duct tape and some rope for them to wake up wearing?

No cell-phone pictures on an American Airlines commercial flight? Probably some bullshit rule associated with 911, the biggest clusterfuck of a coop of all time.

A million flights a day go off without any of this shit. Just charge her for the extra fuel used unless she's proven bonkers.
