I think Scientology is really a well-organized investment firm. They keep out of the public eye with the cult stuff so the rich celebrities can make money off of lean hogs and T-Bills.

I've always felt WalMart was more dangerous than Scientology. Scientology only goes after people who $&*@ with them first. WalMart destroys lives and business as a matter of course. Haliburton and Blackwater scare me far more than a pyramid scheme cult like the CoS.

I know that in certain instances, members of the cult have caused the death of seemingly innocent people. I don't know if they're innocent, so I can't say. I can't think of any real reason why the cult should exist, but to demonize it due to the actions of some of it's members is unfair. I seem to remember the Catholic Church had a few run-ins with murder/death/kill at one point or another. Lately however, they have kept their members clean other than the child rapists, so it's all good.
