Who Killed the Electric Car?

conansays...

I wish i could get a gallon for $3.00+. I´ve just paid €1.42/liter this morning, equals €5.39/gallon equals US$6.91/gallon...

Yeah, Germany, home of the inventor of cars... And by the way: Thanks Mr. Bush for the war of oil

shaisays...

there is no conspiracy

batteries cost a lot of money and would eventually need to be replaced. from what i understand not cost effective until batteries improve.

if everyone drove one it would tax the power system. last it isn't reliable. it would need a secondary power system because batteries take time to charge.

gizmundisays...

If the U.S. spent the 300+ billion dollars that's gone into fighting the War in Iraq to cover our deserts with wind farms and solar panels, it's pretty obvious that we could generate enough energy to support electric cars. It's not a conspiracy. It's just outright bloodthirsty greed by an infintisimally miniscule percentage of the population to continue raping the earth dry of it's last drops of multi-trillion dollar valued oil. It can actually make you sick if you really dwell on it.

I accuse Mr. Bush in Iraq with the WMD's

And I accuse congress who sent us to war and talked the UN into letting us look for WMD's. Mostly because the Executive branch does not have power to declare war.
