For a second I thought it said "sophisticated trees". Yeah, trees may look cool, but... oh, "skill trees". Right. Does look absolutely awesome though. They know how to put together a glorious looking trailer. Hopefully the game lives up to the trailer. OH wait, it's an MMO? Hmm... still, looks cool.

MMO (usually used as a part of MMORPG) means Massively Multiplayer Online.

It looks like their website only came online recently, April I think, from the date-stamps on their forum posts.

www.darkfallonline.com is another very similar concept, (open world pvp, and no classes), but I couldn't find as pretty a video for them.

It's nice to see more MMORPG competition for warcraft, although this isn't really the direction I'm interested in. I'm more interested in persistent world building and less interested in PvP.

The lighting and art is nice, but I don't think it's technologically any better than Doom3.

gametrailers has had an HD version up for sometime now.. its not all THAT impressive. nothing new really.

Doom3, sure, but that's an FPS. This is an MMO we're talking about. An MMO! I'm a fan of the epic landscapes. WoW pulls it off well enough with the cartoony graphics, but to have something like this... Incredible.

Erm, how is the lighting at all interesting? It's a quick flash of a predrawn lighting shape which also flickers a lightsource... huh, why is this exciting?

The torchlight stuff was ok as well I guess, but overall, underwhelmed.

Graphics is the least of my concern when it comes to finding an interesting game. I was thinking throughout the entire video, "Why would you chose a Rhino as a mount?".

Then you should DEFINITELY check out the lego MMO they're working on.

You know what? My comment makes no sense if you read it the way it's written... see, this is how it happened...

I thought that your heading was Real Time LIGHTNING not lighting... and so when I watched the trailer, well, there was some lightning, so I continued to think that's what you'd meant, and was underwhelmed by it.

I even wrote lighting instead of lightning... weird.

Anyway... the LIGHTNING is not impressive

The LIGHTING isn't bad at all.
