Local Fox reporter attacked by union person and they stormed the tent, stole food and drinks from a caterer that was hired to provide services. I don't know if the tent was part of FOX news or just happened to be there when the mob got crazy.

Looks to me like the guy was bating them, getting in their faces, not asking questions just accusing them of things.

Look you may agree or disagree with the unions but the truth is these are people. Guess what some people are...assholes. So some assholes attack a guy who's deliberately being an asshole to them and we're supposed to I guess believe that the Union protesters are now evil and wrong?

It's bullshit, just like when police provoke protesters or dress up in street clothes to try and get protesters to start rioting so the police can have an excuse to break them.

The violent nature of this countries labor disputes and the hundreds of people killed by cops when they try to unionize makes this a very obviously corporate run society. We should support people who are trying to democratize the society, Unions are a part of that. That's not to say unions are perfect they're definitely not, that doesn't mean they don't help, they obviously do.

That doesn't mean you eliminate them all. If you eliminated something based on the actions of the few, we wouldn't have made it as a society.

I don't doubt the guy is a complete joke. If the guy is a douchebag stirring up trouble and looking for attention, than you ignore him. Quickest way to get rid of those seeking it.

I'm commenting more on the fact of human nature and people immediately resorting to violence rather than engaging in rational discussion when confronted with a differing opinion.

Oh yeah I totally agree they're idiots for attacking him. Some people are not good with confrontation at all. I've been a referee for half my life, this guy couldn't bait me into a fight with anything and I'd calmly explain how he is a complete douchebag to him and his mother all day if he'd like me to. Other people though, like some players I ref, are not right in the head. They go INSANE if something goes counter to how they believe it should go, and they'll get violent easily.

People are people, and they suck. So best for them to organize and the bad people to get sat down by the good people and told to pipe down.
