EMPIREsays...and he still won by a huge margin. that guy is GOOD
Boise_LibHe must have felt like he had 50 lbs. of cement on each leg by the end.
YogiThis reminds me of the college girl that fell and got up to make up the time and win. The human body is fucking amazing, if it's pushed to the absolute limits. Just look at how fast sprinters got after the Jamaican Sprinters pushed them.
TrancecoachI've run on that very track.
It's no joke.
renatojjsays...Proof that people have more steam then their bodies lead them to believe.
PaybackWow, even fail is win.
poolcleanerI did the exact same thing on a 5k in 2011, but I just couldn't keep it up after burning off that second wind. What a terrible feeling... physically AND emotionally. People behind you coming up like, "You thought you were bad, huh sucka?"
yellowcsays...People != world class athletes. Your body also simply gives warnings, it won't stop you from doing anything unless your physical body literally fails, at which point, no will power will produce any steam.

renatojjsays...@yellowc the disparity between feeling dead tired and actually failing is not exclusive to top athletes.
