You had me at the King of All Cosmos. Pretty good list, but I'm sure there are many missing ones...

Honestly, I thought they were going to throw a curve and say Vincent for Final Fantasy...

I certainly didn't agree with all of it, but hey, lists like these are based mostly on opinion. But the reason I upvoted? NO MASTER CHIEF! Seriously. The guy is worshiped more than Chuck Norris. And he's got less personality and presence than a block of wood. So it's refreshing to see a top 10 characters list without him in it.

I think "Dog" from Half-Life 2 should be on there.

I guess this is only for console games, huh? Because Manny from Grim Fandango was one cooool cat. Not to mention any number of other characters from other lucasarts adventure games. I mean- Indiana Jones, wha?

Master Chief was just Doom Guy in higher res.

What no Jim Rayner from Starcraft? Or Dogmeat from Fallout 1 & 2?
