Found it. Plague of 70s saturday mornings.

lordy, i don't remember that at all. somehow i completely missed the entire schoolhouse rock ouvre, though i think i'm the right age. born in 1961, so in the early 70s i was just hitting my stride and yet to reach my peak, in terms of hours/day watching tv.

i got on this 70s thing by seeking that coke commercial, and finding a few others that i thought worthy of note. the levis one just made me smile and is waay too catchy. i almost posted the dr pepper (i'm a pepper, she's a pepper... wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?), written by barry manilow, further giving it value as part of our precious cultural heritage -- but i thought i'd show at least *some* restraint.

AAAAAA!!!! You found it!!! GOD that reminds me of getting up on Saturdays for cartoons and eating out of the cereal box. Thank you.

Please please PLEASE post the Dr Pepper. Restraint means nothing...you posted that Levis with that damn song that won't get out of my head.

And if I might make a request? How about the "Two all-beef patties" McDonalds commercial?

This had to be around in the 80's too. Because I remember this song and I wasn't born until the 80's

Wow, I still remembered all the words. They came to mind just from seeing the title. Weird how your child-mind is like a steel trap for some things. This is right up there with the "12345" song from sesame street, the "teeny little super guy", and a couple others that have continually haunted me all the way through adult hood.

And this video in particular was circulated well into the 80s.
