RUDE!! they are not built by slaves. As you see they are assembled in the USA. However, Apple found a way to crush/dry their slaves into a heat conductive powder that increased the central heatsink efficiency by 50%.

I want I want I want LOL.

One serious concern: I've upgraded my previous large case Mac Pro (the old school aluminium case) with more memory, new drives, and a new video card since I got it---and it still cooks along.

This case doesn't really look like it gives me any place to put in aftermarket stuff.
Hmmm.

I will never buy a mac... but I sure as hell appreciate the mechanical and electronic engineering in this thing. Yes... expandability sucks in some ways, naturally with thunderbolt-2 or whatever the hell they call it, external disk is no problem at all, but the graphics and memory will hit its limits.

Nope.
Memory is soldered on. Onboard storage is soldered on. CPU is soldered on. Video card is 100% custom design, impossible to buy elsewhere.
You are buying essentially a $3000 disposable aluminum can warmer.

These are not "upgrades". These are up-sell options during the initial purchase.
You can't upgrade this can later on. What you buy is what you'll keep using until it breaks or Apple fools you into thinking that you need a new one.

Avokineoksaid:

You can expland like crazy for the coming years. The fact it;s smaller doesn't mean you don't have space for upgrades. The upgrades themselves are smaller too. SSD is small. HD can be added by daisy chain, GPU can be upgraded too.. Here is a guy who made a video about a $25000 upgrade which could be done..
