I guess I was just ignorant of what Post Hardcore was. This cover is definitely not Post Hardcore then, but whatever it is, it's terrible, terrible shit.
RadHazGMeh. If theres anything in the music world I despise, its assholes who scream and call it "singing". No, we can't understand yor freaking words. Yes, it makes my ears bleed and I should sue for pain and suffering.
Minus the screamer, its not all *that* bad. Boy have I seen worse. So much worse. The horror....
Edit : I should enter a caveat in that I say its not all that bad compared to similar crap. Compared to the actual song it is of course a comparable to gifts my dog leaves all over my back yard.
kymbosMan, I sifted a cover of the Beastie Boys by... Coldplay... the other day, just as a warning. Imagine that fucking band playing 'fight for your right'. I discarded it after a couple of days - I'd made my point.
MaxWilderWhy the screaming? Why??? I appreciate it in some songs where the tension leads up to a few screamed lines, expressing a rage and frustration that can be quite artistic and poignant. But just screaming an entire song is completely useless. It says nothing, means nothing, contributes nothing. I just turned it off. Congrats to the band for a phenomenal waste of time.
