RadHazGVideo's like this may be informative about whats going on in these peoples heads, but I can never watch more than a minute or two. The things these people think, its obvious they have no clue about reality, they just spit out talking points from conservative radio/tv and know zilch about whats behind those statements. To watch any more than a minute is to reduce my own IQ. We have scientologists and LDS in this country, I have zero hope of convincing them or these people of reality, so why bother.
PsychologicSo, to sum up:
"I don't even know what's in the bill."
"Fox News"
dystopianfuturetodayWow.
EmptyFriendsays...I look at this as comedy, and in that way it's great. Obviously don't try to watch this for a rational debate or reasonable arguments from the protesters.
RadHazGThe problem with seeing this as comedy though Empty is that while one of the tools of comedy is exaggeration, the audience is all in secret agreement that its not actually that bad. These people actually MEAN this idiocy, and they have or will be in a position to make that opinion real at some point.
snooznsays...I'm never sure how seriously to take these things. Yes, the knowledgeable interviewer shows that these particular people are idiots, but do we know that they represent the tea party as a whole? I'm a liberal, so I suspect they do, but that may just be my own bias. Penn & Teller had a clip showing all the dumb liberals they convinced to sign a petition outlawing water (by referring to it as "dyhydrogen monoxide" and listing some of its dangers). Another conservative interviewed black people who were voting for Obama, but couldn't give any real reason why (with the implication that they were voting for him only because of his race). So, this is interesting and I do like that the interviewer talks to his "victims" more in depth than these people usually do, but it shouldn't be taken as any kind of proof that the tea party is comprised mostly of idiots.
mxxconi love this guy!
all of his interviews are a perfect 3 move dance:
1)let them speak their line
2)rebut with a logical question
3)watch them draw a blank and then shout their line even louder.
