The Lilium Jet successfully completed its maiden test flight series in the skies above Bavaria. The 2-seater Eagle prototype executed a range of complex maneuvers, including its signature mid-air transition from hover mode to wing-borne forward flight.

Lol, it's a big RC airplane with ducted fans. Look closely there is no pilot, it's just an empty shell.

Isn't that just being smart for it's maiden test flight? Why put a pilot in danger if you don't need to?
It looks like there's room for one, and enough lift. Time will tell.

Personal flight will never happen for the masses unless its automated flight with awareness of everything else around you. Otherwise its a cluster fuck waiting to happen.
