The car while looks like fun is horribly impractical for any long run, since a rowing motion is far more physical straining then say a peddling motion would have been, so that's something that might be over come in design. Also the lack of cover is a concern for people who live in Northern climates.

I agree, too impractiacal. What if I want to go somewhere by myself? What if a passenger is handicap? And I'm sorry I don't feel like working up a sweet everytime I want to go somewhere. Sorry Hippies I'm not willing to give up convience and coincidering that the enviroment has actually been improved and proteceted more then ever in the history of man I think I'll wait for the more fuel efficent cars and hybrids to develop. I wonder how well that does in snow or on a steep incline.
