Great (pretty) new single from the Hives. Love the simplistic music video recorded at Benny Andersson's (ABBA) RMV Studios in Sweden.

Indeed, it is very similar. Jeff Lynne is incidentally credited as composer in the album's liner notes.

it does remind me of elo's song from "DISCOvery"(where i lost my love for them). definitely more rock than disco.

I spent 20 minutes trying to think of the lyrics to the song that has this same riff, and when I finally think of it, look it up, and come back to post about it, I realize that's an embedded video in oritteropo's post.
