So, there are people I've been arguing with around the traps about the Phoenix mission to mars, and how it was a waste of money at $450 odd million dollars... so for that money we get to land a spacecraft on a planet millions of kilometers away and possibly find out if there is/was life there. They say 'Well, we should be spending that money on our problems here at home' (you know, as if it's all mutually exclusive, if you send something to mars you can't possibly be spending money on anything else)...

These same people, where's the outcry at 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS on this absolute puritanical BULLSHIT!

It scares and saddens me that so much money is spent on an OBVIOUS folly. It's OBVIOUS they way to handle teens and sexuality isn't just to bring out the dirty toothbrush and say 'Don't do it or you'll be a whore'... it's OBVIOUS to ANYONE with at least half a functional brain hemisphere that teach kids all there is about sex, teach them the dangers, teach them the EMOTIONAL impact it can have, and you're going to have kids who either then CHOOSE not to have sex, or do so in a FAR, FAR safer way.

I weep for you USA, I weep for you and your sexually repressed ways.

Of course Australia is right behind you, we too follow your lead of treating sex as being far worse than violence, as every good, white, Christian country should... nothing wrong with blowing the heads off each other, but giving head... well that's just not right.
