THE FRENCH DISPATCH directed by Wes Anderson brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city. It stars Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson. The film releases on July 24, 2020.

I find his movies extremely compelling visually, characters and acting are usually superb but they tend to have terrible stories and character arcs.

His movies seem to be more about the setting and the atmosphere than anything else which works to some extent but leaves you wanting in a lot of cases.
