neteansays...almost blasphemy to redub some an hawsome film.. but dang it's well done!
kymbossays...Yeah, this had to happen sometime. It's sacrilege, but well done.
I showed the Dark Crystal to my nephew when he was little. Before it ended, he got up and walked outside just to be by himself for a little bit. Coulnd't face it. That film is *dark!
lesserfoolsays...How is that not Richard Pryor? So many mannerisms are dead-on and even the mutual fund / IRA bit is his style.
gharksays...I read this book as a child, as well as watching the movie, they were incredibly powerful emotional experiences, very sad too. In the same sort of vein as Watership Down but with more reliance on the amazing caricatures throughout to set the scene.
westysays...Dark Crystal is emence its the kind of film if you watch under the age of 10 that will fuck you up for life lol
Sagemindsays...^I guess that puts me in the "fucked up for life" crowd - So be it!
Paybacksays...I watched DC thinking the entire time they could have won 1000 times faster with a machine gun.
Guess I was fucked up already.
berticussays...this is so amazing *promote
siftbotsays...Promoting this video back to the front page; last published Tuesday, March 9th, 2010 7:30pm PST - promote requested by berticus.
grahamslamsays...Just two weeks ago I watched The Dark Crystal in high def. Haven't seen it since my childhood. Right before that I had some guy approach me at the gas station asking for a buck and when I gave him one to get him away he asked for more. To combine those two recent experiences in one short clip is pure genius.
