Unless you can change the interests of the war lenders and arms dealers ,there's no way the U.S. will avoid military initiatives when the opportunity presents itself.

This is EXACTLY what I am talking about. When it became obvious that all this media coverage was really just easing American's into the idea of military action, and was only pretending to discuss the "issues" surrounding this farce, I wanted to organize something immediately. This just can't happen. I don't know how. I don't use social media, I have like 100 contacts on Facebook which itself I never log into, and I've never used Twitter, but clearly these are the tools to use for organizing something.
I'm self employed and I can take the time off to protest, but even if I couldn't I would, job be damned. I have no idea how to go about organizing such a thing, but I'm keeping my ear to the ground for anything peaceful, but serious. Fucking march on Washington. Do not let them do this again.

If we could get several million people to do this, parking would be hellish, but I'd be there.

Obama is the smartest President we ever had. He knows best. Bomb on Berry, bomb on. That's what the left been singing the last 5 years.

Again the "Left" didn't like Obama, they knew he wasn't going to change much, if anything. We didn't know he'd end up being WORSE than Bush by this point though, it's a travesty.

I'd imagine (and tout the idea constantly when people start bitching about being powerless in these situations) a most effective impact would be had in the form of protest through boycott:
For instance, the entire country buys no gasoline for a week, a month, etc.
Protest prison system woes and completely fucked drug laws by hitting more commodities, boycott cotton and coffee for six months and watch 'em squirm.

Week off Work protests stretch into month off work.
Laws violating the human rights of retail employees, the ethical treatment of squirrels in public parks, pick a cause and demand change through withdrawing your capitol and watch the cockroaches scatter!

Shut down the predictable meatbag habits and watch the shit change dramatically.

We are heading towards planet lock-down and we can make it easy for Babylon, or a pain in her ass.
