It's quite surreal for me to see all this Queensland coverage on the Sift. I'm on the Gold Coast, 80km South of Brisbane. His zoo is on the Sunshine Coast, 80km North of Brisbane.

Never seen him in person. I'd like to take the kids to his zoo, but it might be a bit sad now.

to be honest: i had been quite a fan of him until i discovered that he was the host of a show only avaiable on DVD called "Bumfights". A terrible show where homeless guys where paid to beat the hell out of each other and i find it disgusting that he hosted it. but nevertheless what happened to him is quite tragic.
