It doesn't take much to get me piss-drenchingly excited about The Hobbit, but Stephen's divulgence of working on the movie sparked me off again :D

yeah. saw "Bad Taste" when it came out, as a teenager, and loved it, which is why i was a bit surprised when i heard he was going to do LotR. he was David Cronenberg with punchlines, y'know?

i also remember thinking, wow, Derek put on a few pounds, eh? i guess Dereks really don't run... but it suits him well. like Kevin Smith, or Tom Selleck with a mustache. just looks goofy without it.

he hasn't managed to meet Fry yet though... which is good, because i will FUCKING KILL HIM when he does.

Cant wait to see him in the movie. He is right though, Weta Workshop and Weta Digital are the best in the business. I cant wait to see what they do with the Hobbit movies.
