the fact that this is even still being debated in the media makes my head hurt.
the fact is kids:
waterboarding =torture.
not only according to article 3 of the geneva convention,but our own federal interrogation laws.
fact #2=study after study has shown no discernable,factual or otherwise,information has been obtained through the use of these methods.
regardless of the flimsy claims by the executive branch.

Listening to the segment before this one, I can see why Smith snapped. Republicans are afraid, and he knows this. The guy who is trying to argue that it's not torture is just an example of how absolutely afraid they really are.

Waterboarding is torture and this is America. We don't torture. I like Shep Smith. One can be a democrat or republican and believe in the highest law in the land, the Constitution of these United States of America. Ones allegiances should NOT in any way push you to take a stance outside those laws. Shep, you rule.

Whether it was used to obtain information is MOOT. It's torture, we don't do fucking torture. Besides that, we know it doesn't work. Study after study after study proves this.

Lets lock that fuckhead in a box with some insects after he's been kept awake for 72 hours and not fed. Lock him in a box, scream at him, slap him around, and leave him there for 12 hours. After he's done, lets ask if he feels like he was tortured. Lets see if he can sleep without waking up screaming in the next week. Lets see how much therapy he needs to get over it.
