Hey dick? Your experience is not equivalent to everyone else's. One of the reasons the sift exists is to share new and different things/perspectives. Take your selfish, condescending attitude and beat it.
As for the video, would love to have seen more action of it swimming in the sand. Neat nonetheless.

Raaaghsays...Ive played with skinks that do something like that - not as big, and in very very fine sand. But I dont remember then being 100% submerged clearly with a signature ontop - they just sort of dissappeared, and then you saw them wriggle out of the dirt a little distance away...I think...
