Rough Seas Destroy Cruise Ship Dining Room

Break.com: 'This is security footage of a dining room of a cruise boat as it hits rough seas. The video starts of a bit slow but by the end the dining room is completely destroyed.'

The biggest mess happens right after the 5 minute mark. Ouch!

where's the foresight to nail some of that crap down??

The dining room tables are nailed down. And people don't like chairs or potted plants that are nailed down. Some of those giant armoires or shelves could have used a good securing, though.

it's so sad how that lonely peppermill just keeps rolling around, back and forth across the dance floor. It doesn't know what's going on. Peppermill just wants to spice your salad.

Dinner AND a show!!!

You'd think people would have the intelligence to leave after the first big tilt. Only when some get hurt, do they decide (or told) to leave. What retards.

The staff are even worse! None have the foresight that unsecured objects colliding with passengers equals no returning guests (and no tip I'm sure)and a ruined vacation for most. The captain or whoever in charge should have ordered all decks with potential hazzards in such weather conditions as off-limits before it escalated into an amusing video on the internets.

I had to watch it again. It looks kind of like fun until around the 6:00 mark when that poor waiter goes sliding across the floor followed by what looks like everything but the kitchen sink, but I'm sure that's flying around somewhere too.

This needs to be a level in a new FPS. Or a game in itself!!

There's a level in "Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II" where you're on a ship that is plummeting to the surface of the planet and you need to find a way to get off it. As it falls, it's rolling and twisting which means the level is basically rotating as you're trying to escape. Sometimes you're running on the walls, sometimes on the ceiling, sometimes you wind up free-falling down the hallways. Oh, and stormtroopers are still shooting at you as you try to escape. And stuff is sliding around too, so you have to avoid being crushed. It was bloody brilliant. I still contend that game had the best level design of all time.

Google "Hydrophobia"...of the little footage shown, mostly tech demonstrations, it looks very promising. Dynamically free-flowing liquids physics engine that can interface with other "solid body" physics engines like Havok = WIN. Would be perfect for a Bioshock sequel.
