The dining room tables are nailed down. And people don't like chairs or potted plants that are nailed down. Some of those giant armoires or shelves could have used a good securing, though.
BreaksTheEarthsays...This was WAY more entertaining than either of the Poseidon Adventures.
Kerotansays...watch the staff in white near the end of the clip, in the background.
All i can say for their fates is ouch.
jimnmssays...Looks like their inertial dampers are offline.
9980says...I like the gentle progression of chaos, from plants, to plastic chairs, to heavy furniture, to people. Ahhh schadenfreude, how I love thee...
bamdrewsays...If there had been just one more you would have seen a cow or some goats, then one more after that would have had a unicorn or a sasquatch sliding across in the debris...
rougysays...^ You're such a Noah it all.
12809says...it's so sad how that lonely peppermill just keeps rolling around, back and forth across the dance floor. It doesn't know what's going on. Peppermill just wants to spice your salad.
13151says...pepper mill just lookin for the right salad lovin
11807says...Dinner AND a show!!!
You'd think people would have the intelligence to leave after the first big tilt. Only when some get hurt, do they decide (or told) to leave. What retards.
The staff are even worse! None have the foresight that unsecured objects colliding with passengers equals no returning guests (and no tip I'm sure)and a ruined vacation for most. The captain or whoever in charge should have ordered all decks with potential hazzards in such weather conditions as off-limits before it escalated into an amusing video on the internets.
jimnmssays...I had to watch it again. It looks kind of like fun until around the 6:00 mark when that poor waiter goes sliding across the floor followed by what looks like everything but the kitchen sink, but I'm sure that's flying around somewhere too.
littledragon_79says...Holy crap, I did not expect to see so many people still there at the end. That's like standing next to a building about to be demolished... *eia if I may.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Eia) - requested by littledragon_79.

Can't be any worse than the Kronosposeidon Adventures. Man, those were rubbish.

There's a level in "Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II" where you're on a ship that is plummeting to the surface of the planet and you need to find a way to get off it. As it falls, it's rolling and twisting which means the level is basically rotating as you're trying to escape. Sometimes you're running on the walls, sometimes on the ceiling, sometimes you wind up free-falling down the hallways. Oh, and stormtroopers are still shooting at you as you try to escape. And stuff is sliding around too, so you have to avoid being crushed. It was bloody brilliant. I still contend that game had the best level design of all time.
11807says...Here is some great reference footage of a cruise ship going through rough seas. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=dd0_1174965550
This ship was probably experiencing something similar.
blutruthsays...Ok cheap laborers, get out there and hold on to something. That way, there will be less to clean up when it's over. Don't worry, it's perfectly safe!
MINKsays...- "Let's go on holiday!"

- "YAY!!! Will there be storms? I like storms."
11997says...Seriously, can someone please add yakity sax and about 30% speed to this video?
WolfDemonsays...I thought it was hilarious seeing all that furniture sliding across the floor and then seeing a man on his back in the middle of it

Google "Hydrophobia"...of the little footage shown, mostly tech demonstrations, it looks very promising. Dynamically free-flowing liquids physics engine that can interface with other "solid body" physics engines like Havok = WIN. Would be perfect for a Bioshock sequel.
Nebosukesays...Since the camera stays mostly still for the whole video, it made me think that two airlocks were fighting for control of the contents of the dining room.
southblvdsays...Upvote for the waiter who FINALLY took control of the situation and got everyone out of there. Good work, waiter dude!
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'cruise ship, boat, dining room, rough seas, storm, destroy, funiture' to 'cruise ship, boat, dining room, rough seas, storm, destroy, furniture' - edited by calvados
