chingaleraTubby little bastard..Used to seeing rockets all slim n sexy-Looks like some lozenge taking-off and landing.
Remember the Lunar Lander arcade game all you old geeks? Dropped many a 4-bits on that one!
Sepacoresays...Nice control on the decent.
deedub81"reusable launch vehicles"
Just ask NASA how that worked out for them.
ravermanWow! even more impressive than the Spacex VTVL demo. That looked steady as a rock.
ravermanReusable launch vehicles aren't flawed as a concept. They just require innovation that a bureaucratic risk averse govt organisation like NASA can't produce.
The space shuttles were designed in the 60s/70s, its like saying cars are unsafe because a government designed 80's car doesn't have a modern 5 star crash rating.
Captain Cook or Christopher Columbus would never have sailed if people worried about ships sinking or people dying.>> ^deedub81:

Wow, that's pessimistic.
Something wasn't achieved by one organisation.
Righto everyone, give up, it's unobtainable, it can't be done, move along.
spoco2These sorts of craft (and the others being made by the other private companies), just amaze me. It's like watching a Science Fiction film except it's real.
That something that looks like that can actually be stable, and fly, astounds me.
