I expected a new punch line, but I guess the real life punchline was too good to top. http://www.videosift.com/video/Richard-Dawkins-What-if-youre-wrong. As an atheist, I was girding up to see if I'd chuckle at South Park's take on Dawkins a la the Mormon episode, "Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb."

I gathered the same I expected some sort of punchline not the same real life speech which to me is not funny. Ohh well liked the animation though if it was not done by the same South Park team who ever it was hit that spot on.

So what was the point of that? Not the source, which was a pretty reasonable rebuttal of an inane question, but why the animation?

Hmmm I'm not sure you quite get south park. They are on nobody's side. Yes, they make fun of dawkins, but they also make fun of practically EVERYTHING else that takes itself too seriously (or not seriously, or anything).

Upvote for someone deciding South Park needed to be in 1080p.

Upvote for the animation, by some guy named TubeLooB, being so spot-on to South Park style that no one who commented on this video actually realized that it was not South Park. This is not by those guys, it's an independent animation project. Why he chose to recreate this Dawkins clip? I have no idea.

A1: Because youtube pays it's hosting bill per PB, not GB.
A2: Most of South Park style is vector-based models/animation, so they can export it to any resolution and it'll look good.
