Oh wow, this was actually here at Carnegie Mellon University, I was there, really good and emotional.

Ah, again, another example of a video that I posted a while ago and it went no where...but NOW someone else comes along and posts it and everything is fine. It's even on the top 20!

Way to go VideoSift! I'd probably be a gold-star member if all my original postings made it out of the sift. As it is, this is one in a long line of videos that were posted by someone else after it failed to make it out of the que for me.

Oh well, at least someone is getting something back from coming to this site...way to go theaceofclubz. This is an important, inspirational speech.

Well, I've found what I'm watching over my lunch break.

He seems like a stupendously nice guy... I feel so, so sorry for his family, in particular his kids, to lose your father that young would be utterly heartbreaking. But it would seem he's left a pretty damn good legacy.

Goofball_Jones - This didn't get out of the queue for 3 and a half days. I thought I was going to have to requeue it. I had an idea, though, that if it made the main page it would do well.

Watch the full version. Randy is a great speaker, and his ability to motivate is part of the reason that I chose CMU for grad school.

I really think the full version should be here, not just a report about it.

It was dead. Replaced embed code with an ABC special version. There are so many specials on this lecture, and I honestly can't remember which one I originally posted.

Death is one scary thought and one of these days I'm going to have to come to terms with my own mortality. Wouldn't life be so much better if we could live forever?
