I swear, it seems like every time McCain has opened his mouth in the last couple years, he's proven the truth of the general attitude of the biographical article in the Rolling Stone. He clearly has no problem at all lying, nor does it appear that he has any actual guiding principles, other than "does this action have a chance (no matter how small) to get me something I want".

As disgusted as I am with Obama's failure to follow through on any of his campaign promises that were important to me, I still have to believe we dodged a bullet when we avoided a McCain presidency.

I keep on imagining that either MSNBC or C-SPAN took it off and dubbed what sounded like McCain in the background saying "I object". Not that they would do that, but it's funny to think about

My thoughts exactly. Obama may not be the savior some people were hoping for, but at least he hasn't dug us into Bush's hole any deeper. (i.e. "bomb, bomb, bomb... bomb, bomb Iran")

As much as slinging McCain his own s**t right back in his face gives everyone a warm fuzzy feeling at Christmas time, is there anyone else who thinks that she was getting waaay too excited about the restoring of a few seconds of video tape?
