StormsingerAwesome work! I only wish I could take pictures like those...
neteansays...Agreed, stunny photography and video.
But... or £4000 / €5000 / US$8000 I'd kind of hope it would be.
StormsingerHope, sure...but the truth is, most of us couldn't get pictures like this with a million dollar camera. We'd just end up with properly exposed, in-focus snapshots (which beats what we get with lesser cameras, admittedly). Of the hundreds of photos I've take in my life, I had exactly two that I thought had some degree of "greatness".
It takes a real talent to find and shoot this kind of footage. I don't see that ever changing.
blankfistIf only you could sync sound with these DSLRs, they'd put the movie industry on its head. Beautiful footage. I am amazed.

The Canon 5D Mark II helped "HD video in DSLR" take off, but AFAIK you still have problems with stuff like rolling shutter in the video... its good quality video but not as good as a dedicated video camera.
Fadewhere's the HD?

brycewi19More so than the camera is the photographer him/herself. They must have a good eye for composition and lighting.
A good photographer can take a great photograph with a lesser camera.
Photography is a talent.
alizarinI'd like to see what he could do with my crappy iphone camera
videosiftbannedmeWow, cool. I could definitely tell it's the best DSLR ever, especially after it's been encoded as a crappy flash video...![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/tongue.gif)
