now the worst you'll normally get, physically?
is that while they're barking in your face, they'll use the very stiff brim of that 'Smokey the Bear' hat, and headbutt you with it, mid-forehead.

Boot camp was such a mind fuck. I wanted to laugh half the time. Fortunately for me I never did, unlike the unfortunate Pvt. Pyle. Still, it was all I could do to choke back the laughter some times. I practically developed a facial tick from stifling the smiles and chuckles.
