X-Ray Films is proud to present this SNEAK PEEK TEASER for our upcoming documentary, Plastic Galaxy: The Story of Star Wars Toys. These 13 minutes and 24 seconds of preview footage were lovingly selected and randomly assembled for your viewing pleasure, and showcase a few of the collectors, historians, and toy designers that help bring this story to life. We hope you enjoy this small taste of the documentary, which will be available on DVD in September, 2013.

Please Note: This footage does not feature final graphics, music, or effects. The stuff you see here was constructed by the film's director, and he's smart enough to hire pros to do the final versions!

Got the certificate for the Star Wars Early Bird Set for Christmas in 1977. I might have them somewhere (although they were well played with).

I had the Millennium Falcon, the X-Wing, and the B-Wing and MY MOM GAVE THEM AWAY WHEN I WAS TEN!

I had the giant Darth Vader helmet that held maybe 40 Star Wars action figure. It sat on my shelf next to the Millenium Falcon.

Now, I just think of all that excessive plastic.

I loved it all, at least for a couple years.
