They started with 40 people back in the late 70's. They plan to have 75-100 people at the Vancouver BC based Pixar Canada alone.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a hug from the guy wanting to jump through the screen, and I'm not even gay.

Awesome.

It's so fucked up that something like this is even necessary, but the format of this, the things said, the message are all awesome.

And they don't apply just to gay people either, ANYONE who feels 'unique' and 'outside' at school etc. Just stay true to yourself and learn that it doesn't work to pretend to be who you think others want you to be. Be yourself and you'll find everything gets pretty damn awesome
