I have finally found someone to hate more than Rosie O'donnell and its that guy. What an idiot. Who cares if what she says is offensive.

He got my attention...

It has more to do with her behavior in regards to criticism she received as a result. First, O'Donnell makes an insinuation of what a Chinese broadcast sounds like, and then when the Asian-American Journalists Association says that what she said was insensitive, she becomes defensive and says "It's O.K., I do accents all the time." Conversely, a week prior, Kelly Ripa make a comment toward Clay Akin about "I don't know where that hand has been.",which can be construed as calling Akin gay. O'Donnell says that comment was "homophobic". Her defensive attitude translates into "It's o.k. when I do it, but not o.k. when someone else does it."

What this guy is saying is that it's alright to make mistakes, and when she was called on the carpet about her comments, it would have taken a lot more class to say "I'm sorry if you feel that what I said was insensitive and if that is the way it came across, then I apologize, it was not my intention.", and all would have been forgiven.

What he's afraid of is that she may make another "insensitive" remark and that someone may not give her the opportunity to say I'm sorry.

This guy might want to lighten up a bit; maybe he could go pee-pee in someone's Coke.

I regularly get random remarks like "Are you from France?" from Americans even though I have a heavy Russian accent. So Beau should keep in mind that to the coarse ears of Roseanne's primary audience, "ching chong" doesn't sound much different than a typical speech of a chinese broadcaster. Anything more elaborate would really be wasted effort.

I dislike Rosie too. But good greif pick any number of other things to rip on her for. Like perhaps her overwhelming egotism that causes her to be fired from 3 diffrent networks and refuse to admit that other people besides her bloated self have coincerns and feelings. I dislike her because she's arrogant and unwilling to admit it.
