As I heard it, Park was approached to help design video games after they saw this hallway fight.

I love this movie! The raw squid scene did it for me. I cant eat sushi anymore.

Damn great movie. If you haven't watched it, I strongly recommend you do.

In the past couple years I crossed some threshold where I can no longer tolerate scenes like this. The old cliche about the crowd of guys hanging back and attacking the guy one at a time... so stupid. This scene is staged and filmed way better, but still.

I think the guy was contacted to design video games because the characters in this scene often resemble a sprite from a fighting game, looping the animation for an idle state.
