i cannot stop watching this. if i were him i'd be constantly walking into bars and restaurants doing trumpet-based jazzboxing. the women would swoon, the men would be green with envy.

I think I have to call shenanigans on this, especially the parts with "horn" and "drum" sounds.

I don't see shenanigans, just talent.

He loses the trumpet sound whilst doing the drums, it's not a perfect act, but it's very very good.

I've always heard of the thumb piano referred to as an mbira.

^ i think the mbira body is rounded and made with a gourd, whereas the kalimba is the more standard box shape and is made with wood. i could be wrong, but i once looked this specific query up in my younger, more curious days.
