the only problem is that most Bush supporters and even Bush himself could watch this and probably drift in and out of paying attention so many times they have no idea what point he was trying to make. not to mention all the big words they have to try to understand.

Clinton: pathological liar, felon and fraud. Did nothing after Bin Hidin' declared war on USA in '95, emboldening terrorists. Disgraced presidency, but got sugary soft drinks out of government schools.

Olbermann: overpaid windsock catering to kollij crowd. A lot of sound and fury signifying 15 minutes of fame about over.

Out of curiosity, if Clinton had been a Republican would you have approved of him? Just wondering, since so many Republicans have also had adulterous affairs and lied about them. That's the only thing I can think of when you say, "disgraced Presidency."

He is getting better, but he took the 1984 reference too far, indirectly implying that the Bush administration codones torture for the sake of torture. Low blow.

Hey, new idea... prolific posters of published videos get rewarded with stars of various levels/ratings. Can we get some sort of "Troll" icon for members who make no attempt to publish videos, yet enjoy the benefits of membership that others must now earn? Yeah, I ain't been here a long time either, but it just seems a little unfair to me. Or howz about some sort of "ignore" feature so that we can make these peeps invisible (or anyone invisible, for that matter)?

I understand what Olbermann is saying. Heck I agree with most of it. But he's just being as inflammatory as all those he's raging against. That's the problem, and it's just making things worse. He's rallying the bush supporters just as much as he is the bush detractors. It creates a 'with us or against us' atmosphere that keeps people from ever really thinking about what's really going on, and it's this lack of thought that allows Bush and his regime to do as they please.

At least that's what I tell myself at night to allay the fear that America really is that stupid.

Krupo, I'm old enough to remember plonking. On usenet, we used to say it meant Person Leaving Our Newsgroup, Kill-filtered. I still use it on occasion and the young-uns are sometimes confused by it. We would also use "wtmkf", which meant "Welcome To My Kill-Filter". Ahhh, the good ol' days...

As far as *ignore, well, I've thought a bit about it and I don't really think it's a good idea here. While the discussions can get lively and emotional, it IS a video site. I think if anybody steps out of line so far that they need filtering or ignoring, an admin would step in and remedy the problem. While some of the stuff I read here makes me want to dive in and rumble, I'm just going to try to remember that this isn't usenet, and the primary purpose of Videosift is for entertainment, not political debate (although I don't think there is anything wrong with that here). It's good to have lot's of different views on the different videos that get posted, even the views I disagree with. It would really suck if the members here started dividing into various cliques based upon stuff they've read in comments, or started voting based upon who the poster was, and not the video itself. I really like hanging out here, and I would hate to see it degenerate into something like that.

Bullshit, Clinton is a liar, he proved that many times during his presidency and now he's claiming 9/11? Funny how he had to wait for things to die down before telling the "truth." Not to mention Clinton has nothing but his word to support his claims, and honestly that counts for shit when it comes to reality. A true politican would have amunition to fire with before making bogus claims.
